Darren started shooting competitively in 1990 when he shot on the Army Pistol Team. He was later introduced to USPSA in 2004 and IDPA in 2010. From 2009 to 2012, Darren shot for the Rudy Project Shooting Team and also served as the Shooting Director and Squad Captain. Darren has shot for Rainier Ballistics for 3 years and has also represented Cabela’s as a Shooting/Firearms Pro Staff for 3 years.
Darren is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association and the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA). He is also a certified Range Officer with the National Range Officer’s Institute. In addition to shooting, Darren enjoys metal working and has built many of the guns he competes with. When he is not shooting or gunsmithing he works as a Professional Civil Engineer for the Department of Army. Darren is married and has two daughters.
